The Yangon-Mandalay Trunk Railway is an important transportation infrastructure connecting the former capital of Yangon to Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar, via the new capital, Nay Pyi Taw, and is over 600 km from north to south.
It was built more than 100 years ago during the British colonial period and, following World War II, various repairs have been carried out in accordance with postwar compensation from Japan.
Over the ensuing years, approximately 1,000 existing bridges (large, medium, and small) located in the previously mentioned section have deteriorated and, in order to restore them, our engineers are currently engaged in work, which includes: surveying, planning, implementation design, construction, and supervision - all with the aim of contributing every day to building a bridge to a brighter future for Myanmar.
